Many Pacific Northwest children who have experienced extended trauma find solace in equine-facilitated (or horse) therapy at Raven Rock Ranch. These troubled kids make significant gains by learning to bond with and care for horses. But explaining WHY horse therapy works wasn’t always easy. The video not only explains the neurology behind the therapy but also puts viewers in the shoes of a troubled teen who learns to find trust and empathy in the company of horses.
