Cliff McCloe, UX and Instructional Writer

I turn complex information into clear, useful messages and instructions. From navigation to error messages, and from instructions to product explanations, I consider what people need to know, when they need it, and how to make it easy to find and understand.

I spent six years as a special education paraeducator and four years as a writer/creative director for an explanation video company. Those two experiences taught me a single truth: if you want to move your audience, you have to meet them where they are.
