Award-winning AIDS Education Poster
-

The campaign targeted gay Gen X men to educate them about the temperature fluctuations they might experience in the first weeks of an HIV infection.
Highlighted strategy: Utilize familiar AIDS quilt imagery to stress the idea: Better under a quilt than on one.
The poster was created in the 2010 Creative Smackdown class at the School of Visual Concepts (Mike Hayward and Kurt Reifschneider, instructors.)
It won a Gold Medal for Student work at the Seattle Addy Awards.
Concept and creative direction: Cliff McCloe
Design: Peter Orr and Dwight Battle
